Duane Reid-Carlson is the President of EDC Associates Ltd., where he leads a team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions in economic and financial analytics and strategic planning. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Duane has a proven track record of forecasting Alberta electric energy market fundamentals. Duane holds a combined B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and MBA from the University of Alberta and is passionate about leveraging data-driven analytics to create efficient, resilient and lasting energy economic decisions.

Matthew Davis is the Vice President of Regulatory, Policy, and Government Relations at Capital Power, where he leads the company’s engagement strategy with federal and provincial governments, regulators, and key policy stakeholders. His work focuses on identifying strategic opportunities and managing regulatory risks.

With over 15 years of experience, Matthew has built forecasting models and developed strategic analytics for Alberta’s wholesale electricity market. He has played a key role in a wide range of policy and regulatory initiatives, including Alberta’s market design, transmission policy and tariff structures, off-coal negotiations, and the development of carbon and renewable energy policies.

Matthew holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the University of Calgary, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma (Honours) from the University of Otago.

Lisa Mueller is educated as a mechanical engineer with over 20 years of technical and business development experience. Ms. Mueller began her career in the space sciences on a NASA project, then moved into the commercial arena by founding and growing her own manufacturing company. Most recently, she served as Senior Business Development Manager of Infrastructure at Shell Canada and President & CEO at Epoch Energy Development. Lisa joined Razor Energy in 2017 as Vice President New Ventures. As the global energy complex began its transition to low-carbon, a new subsidiary of Razor Energy was formed, FutEra Power. As President and CEO of FutEra Power, Lisa aims to leverage Alberta’s current energy assets to develop a cleaner energy tomorrow, beginning with Canada’s first co-produced geothermal power project.

Dustin leads communications, external relations, and government policy for Berkshire Hathaway Energy (BHE) Canada, with additional responsibilities for U.S. affiliate businesses. Previously, he was Managing Director of Government and Regulatory Policy at Heartland Generation, responsible for the company’s carbon, environmental and regulatory strategies. Earlier in this career, Dustin held several senior leadership roles within Alberta Energy leading market reform initiatives.
