Bob Myles has been recently appointed as President and Chief Operating Officer, Canadian Utilities Limited. Under this new role, Bob has operational, financial and strategic oversight of Canadian Utilities’ operations across North and South America.

Canadian Utilities Limited an ATCO company, is a diversified global energy infrastructure corporation delivering essential services and innovative business solutions. Its subsidiary and affiliate companies have approximately 9,000 employees and assets of $23 billion.

For over 25 years, Bob’s career has focused on the Canadian industrial sector in oil and gas, power and midstream markets. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer of ATCO EnPower and before that he served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development for ATCO Ltd. where he was responsible for growing ATCO’s footprint in strategic global markets, and the ongoing operations of Canadian Utilities’ non-regulated businesses in Australia and the Americas. Bob has held a number of executive roles, including Chief Operating Officer of Stuart Olson Industrial Group; President and CEO of Tartan Canada Corporation; Managing Director of Energy at ATCO; Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at ATCO; President of ATCO Pipelines; and President of ATCO Energy Solutions.

Bob is a past member of the board of directors of Alberta WaterSMART, a past Director and Chair of the Canadian Energy Pipelines Association, and a past Director of both the Petroleum Joint Venture Association and the Canadian Gas Processors Association.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
